The Friend.

I read in the friend today, and i have a story to tell you, it's called "Swimming Lessons"

Once there was a girl that was in 4th grade, she moved and she had to go to a different school. At the new school things were ok until one day the gym teacher told them that they would be taking swimming lessons. But the girl had already taken swimming lessons at her old school. So after class she told the teacher that she has taken swimming lessons at her old school. "Oh lucky you then" said the teacher. No, the girl thought. Not lucky me, more like unlucky me. Ever since she was a little girl she had hated swimming lessons. She was terrified of them. So now that she was to take swim lessons twice on one school year, it seemed like the worst thing in the entire world. The night before swim lessons her mom tucked her in, she sat on her bed and asked heavenly father to help her some how, because she really did not like swim lessons and she needed his help. The next day she was really nervous as they went to the pool and got ready for swim lessons. as she sat on the pool deck they began calling out names and put kids into groups depending on there swim level. As they called her name, she realized that she had been put into a group were the swim teacher who was in her ward. The lesson was finally over, she found out that she did not pass the level she had been in. But this did not matter because she knew that heavenly father had helped her be in  the group with the lady in her ward in order to help her. She knew that having that swim teacher was no accident, heavenly father knew her struggles and cared about her.

School

For my school assignment i learned about "Selection" (Selection. Breeding to animals of the same kind and choosing the one that you want over time of breeding).

For PE i learned about lizards. I learned what kind of lizards life here.

Stem

If i could change a law. If i could change a law it would be that you can have a permanent marker in a public place with out any one knowing. I do not see any resewn why you can't have a permanent marker in a public place with out any one knowing. I think that who ever made-up this law did not know what he was doing.  

Science

For science i learned about dinosaurs and there footprints. I learned that we can tell a lot about them by looking at there footprints.

For fitness i played in the gym with my cozen. We both fell over.

Stem

For stem i put a gerbil throw a maze. It got 2.16 in time. It is improving.

Tech / Science

for tech / science i did the Snap-Circuit. I made a circuit that i have two cords and a speaker and i put the two cords in a cup of water and it makes a sowned.  

Math

For math i learned about the grater-than symbol ">" and less-than symbol "<".

Classic Book

For classic book i read "The Story Of The Gold Nail" and in that story we read about railroad builders. They built a railroad from the Pacific ocean to the Atlantic ocean.

I am grateful that i could play in the gym on the Rip-Stick. What would make today better would be if i could go to the physics museum. I am the most awesome time in to world.

I am grateful that i can stay with my cozen for another week. What would make today better would be that my fingers would heal. I am happy.

Stem

Today for stem i made a maze for a gerbil. He made it in 1 minute and 22 seconds. and tomorrow i am going to do it again. I  am going to keep doing it for one week and see if its time will improve.  

Teach

Today for teach i did the snap circuit extreme. I make a hover-craft. I tried to make an alarm but it dident work. But t was fun anyway.

Happy Wheels

I was just playing HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPY WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS. I was playing my cozens level and i could not beat it.

Classic Book

In the school the teacher was going beat-up by four boys. When class started the teacher reached under his desk and pulled out a whip. The kids came into the classroom. The teacher was asking the students questions. Non of them answered. Then one of the kids that was going to beat the teacher up came up the the teachers desk and laughed in his face. The teacher didn't say any thing. Then he whipped him and raped the whip around him and tugged and forced him out the door into the hall way and slammed the door shut. the students were scared, some of them even went out the window.

For classic boo i have bean reading I.Robot. It is a book with little story's in it. One of them is Runaround. That is the one i am on now. I am on page 70.

Fred walked down a path in the great woods. He enjoyed the quiet. Since it was February in Kansas, the flowers had not yet started to bloom.

Fred was lost but he fount a duck and the duck told him were to go. Fred got lost because the duck lied.

What advice would you give the ‘5 year old you‘?

Do not eat the chocolate because it will ruin you sweet sweet life. Try to think of a creative idea that will change the world. Do 10 sit-ups every night. Write a poem that is 4 pages long. Think of some thing awesome for your 6th birthday. Go out and explore some more. Make new friends. Learn to read. Learn to spell. Count to 100. Think about what you do be for you do it.

Math

For math i have bean reading Life of Fred. In the book Life of Fred there is a story line, and math problems for you to solve. Such as 7 X 15 = 105. The story line is about a boy named Fred and he solves math probables.

Today i read 90 min in I.Robot. I lerned about the under ground rail road. With slaves that started a rebellion. I read to my brothers in life of Fred.

Fred was playing one the play ground, when he saw a little toy. He wondered who it belong to, he look t around and he saw a little boy that was crying, he went over to him and said, Dose this toy belong to you? and the boy said Yes it dose were did you find it? Fred said i found it on the ground. The boy thank t him.

My report about the landscapers pulled out the trees

A long, long time ago there were some landscapers, and they pulled out a lot of trees. There were some aliens that were watching the earth. They wanted to do see the earth up close. The aliens whenrt to the earth, and they saw no trees. The trees were there only life source, with out them they wold not be able to full there planet with air. the aliens went back to there planet to tell the others. The aliens said: We just traveled to the planet eearth to get more air, but be have not got much, the huumans are cutting down the trees. The hole planet was wired, no one knew what it do. After a wile the landscapers had cut down more and more trees. No one knew what to do, THEN one of the little aliens had an idea. He thot that they cud send a message to the humans to tell them to stop. They sent a hologram in the sky to tell them to stop. IT WORK, they stop t and the aliens got more air forthere planet.

How could you survive a landslide?

Tornadoes, earthquakes, wildfires, floods. You probably know about these, they are called natural hazards. But there is another one that is not as well known, the landslide. The landslide is vary dangerous. They can happen by a mountain, or bye a big hill. If you life near a mountain or big hill, then it wood be a good idea to protect your house. One way to do that is to brainstorm.

For science i watch t a video on if mountains will last forever. What i learned is that mountains will not last forever. They get water in the cracks of the rock. When it becomes winter the water freezes (When water freezes it expands) then it pushes the rocks apart. Over time the mountain crumbles and it falls apart. This is what it looks like when that happens.

Gymnastics

In Gymnastics i have bean doing a lot of stuff like flips and roles and pull-ups. I have also bean doing warm ups such as candles and plank-jumps and the bear crawl and the crab crawl and summer-salts and cart wiles.Gymnastics is really fun!    

Math

I have bean reading a book called "Brian's winter by Gary Paulsen" it is a great book and it is the third book. The first book is called "Hatchet" and that is a really great book to also by-
"Gary Paulsen".
